Legendary Climbs

Legendary Climbs features a week-long event,
with consecutive days during which it will be possible to tackle all the finishes in sequence, one per day, and three single days each reserved for one of the three main finishes in the circuit..

In the one-week event, you can participate for an unlimited number of days,
without any obligation to take part in the full programme

The event begins immediately after the passage through Piedmont
of the first stages of the Tour de France

Handy information:

The roads will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on the following days and times:

Colle Fauniera: Saturday 15/6 from 8 am to 2 pm (only from the Grana and Maira valley sides); Wednesday 3/7 from 8 am to 12 noon

Colle di Sampeyre: Thursday 4/7 from 8 am to 12 noon

Pian del Re: Saturday 22/6 from 9 am to 2 pm; Friday 5/7 from 8 am to 12 noon

Montoso e Rucas in Bagnolo Piedmont: Saturday 6/7 from 8 am to 12 noon

Montemale in Cuneo: Sunday 7/7 from 8 am to 12 noon

Colle dell’Agnello: Monday 8/7 from 9 am to 12 noon; Sunday 1/9 from 9 am to 2 pm

Conditions for participation:

Participation in the events is free.

All cyclists who register at the designated meeting places will receive a commemorative tag to place on their bicycle.
There will be French starts (staggered in small groups), between 8 am (except for Colle dell’Agnello on both dates and Pian del Re on Saturday 16/9, from 9 am) and 11 am.
The roads will be completely closed to motor vehicle traffic (cars and motorbikes) and reserved for cyclists; it will still be necessary to respect the rules of the highway code, keeping to the right and descending at a moderate speed on the way back. The use of a helmet is mandatory and it is advisable to bring gloves, rain jackets or heavy clothing for the descent.
We recommend that you check the efficiency of your bicycle.
The organizers are not responsible for any damage to persons or property: participation in events is subject to the personal responsibility of each.

Photographs and refreshments

Photographs of participants will be taken every day. Participants will then be able to download them freely from the websites, where they will be made public.
Saturday, June 15 and 22 and Sunday, September 1 will also be held a free refreshment for all at the arrival at altitude expected in each day. On other days there is a small refreshment for participants.
